Ingredients:
1. Chayote - 1
2. Moong Dhal - 1/2 Cup
3. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
4. Coconut - 1/4 Cup
5. Green Chilly - 2 (Add more or less according to your taste)
6. Cumin - 1/2 tsp
7. Mustard - 1 tsp
8. Oil - 2 tsp
9. Salt - Needed qty
10. Curry leaf - Small qty
11. Coriander - Small qty

Procedure:
1.Take oil in a pan.Heat the oil. Pop mustard and keep it aside.
2.Take washed chayote and peel the skin.Cut it in to small pieces.
3.Put it in the pan, add water (See that it just covers the chayote pieces).
4.Now, add salt and turmeric powder. Mix well.
5.Keep the flame in medium and then cover the pan with lid.
6.Meanwhile, cook moong dhal and keep ready.
7.Once the chayote is cooked, add the moong dhal and cover again with lid.
8.Grind the coconut, chillies and cumin together in a mixer.
9.Add the ground coconut masala to the contents in the pan. Now add the popped mustard.
10.Mix well and keep it in stove for another 5 minutes.
11.Garnish with curry leaves and coriander.
12.Serve hot with rice and chappathi.
