This is the recipe I learnt from my Mom. She often prepares this at home and this is a very healthy breakfast. You can use plain paruppu usli or any vegetable paruppu usli.
To prepare Idiyappam, you need rice flour, a pinch of salt, hot water and Idiyappam presser. Make the rice flour to a soft dough with water. Grease the Idiyappam presser with oil. Stuff with the dough and gently press on idly plates and steam cook.
1. Idiyappam - 2 Cups (Broken)
2. Paruppu Usli - 1 Cup
3. Oil - 1/2 tbs
1. Combine all the ingredients together.
2. Serve with Coconut chutney.
